One is that we don’t have any 800M hardware in hand for testing (yet – we should get a notebook in the near future) the second problem is that, as is typically the case, 800M will be a mix of both Kepler and Maxwell parts. Today’s launch of the 800M series will give us the first taste of what’s to come, but unfortunately there are two minor issues. That renewed focus on efficiency is nice and all on the desktop, but in my opinion where it’s really going to pay dividends is when we get the mobile SKUs. The result was roughly a doubling of performance per Watt, with the GTX 750 Ti being nearly twice as fast as the GTX 650 with only slightly higher power draw (and some of that most likely comes from the increased load on the rest of the system thanks to the higher frame rates). While the features may be largely the same, however, NVIDIA did come out with a renewed focus on efficiency. Last month NVIDIA launched the first of many Maxwell parts to come with the desktop GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti, which brought a new architecture to NVIDIA’s parts, but one that isn’t radically different from the previous generation’s Kepler. I would like if someone shed some more light on this issue because it has become a pain to have two overclock profiles, one with the maximum overclock achieved and the other is the base clock specially for warframe that i have to interchange every time i want to play another game on my pc.Introducing NVIDIA’s GeForce 800M Lineup for Laptops Some people might say because it is more cpu intensive but i set it in nvidia control centre to run at maximum performance so as to reduce frame rate drops in more intense scenes. This is the first game i have owned that does that and i dont know why. It stays at its base frequency the entire time. The only way i have gone around this freaking bug is to revert my 2ghz overclock back to stock settings and even then, when the game is running smoothly, my gpu doesnt boost frequency. Either the game completely freezes and i have to ctrl-alt-del and use task manager to force shut it down or it suddenly takes me to my desktop but the audio from the game still plays, however when i try to reenter the game, nothing pops up but the sound still plays. When i launch warframe with my gpu overclocked. One is a laptop with a gtx 860m and the other is a desktop with a gtx 1070.
I have had warframe installed on two gaming pc's.
